“If you want to make me happy, talk fashion to me!”

Raised by a mother that explored the freedom color combinations and unique beautiful pieces of clothing, encouraged me to embrace my own style and create my now Persona, Jazzy Kakes. Unlike others, I believe fashion is about how you feel inside and not about current trends. I encourage my clients to be bold, confident and embrace their individual style. “No Limits” is my motto and allows my clients the ability to step outside of their fashion box and develop their own unique, yet trendy style.

The opening of my very first brick and mortar in 2012, Runway Style Bar and Boutique, allowed me the opportunity to display my skills, including closet organization, fashion showcases, and live entertainment. But with the increased number of boutiques opening in Birmingham, I noticed they were all missing two key components: personality and quality. Owning a boutique is not about selling apparel to make money, but about developing a relationship with your customer and helping them find and embrace their own unique style. I made the tough decision to close my boutique and focus on my passion as a Personal Stylist and Shopper, calling it my RSBB 2.0. This service was missing in Birmingham and I knew I had more to offer to the citizens of this amazing city.

My desire is to have a more personal, hands-on relationship with my clients. Placing them in runway-ready pieces matching their personalities, lives, and budgets. I want my clients to experience the joy of shopping and developing their own unique fashion trends. This is my way of inspiring, motivating and boosting their confidence. I feel it is my God-given responsibility as a Fashionista to make others feel amazing, both in and out! I have expanded my services to also include virtual styling, interior styling and design, closet concierge, and event planning.

My message to all my clients and fellow fashionistas, “Never accept the answer, No. Pursue your fashion dreams, remain humble, and remember greatness takes time to develop with trial and error. Nothing is impossible as long as you believe in yourself and your vision.”
